    Warmest Season's Greetings to all here on the Island.

    I wish all of you a warm, festive and peaceful holiday. Lately I've come to regard the Island and all its residents as a wonderul, warm, supportive, loving and very functional family. Not without it's kooky uncles and intra-family spats....but hey, that's what families are all about!

    Of course, there's two holes in that family this year and one of them is going to take a long, long time to heal. Even that is part of what a functional family is all about.

    Special mention for the people who keep this beast running so well. From where this OF sits, it sure looks like you're getting it as exactly right and any mortal could. IMHO, that's a reflection of the excellent caliber of the people keeping the beach all tidy and warm! Three cheers to you guys!
