    Speaking of hams...man, the radio scene around here last evening was deadsville.

    ETA:

    I had a set of those twins once upon a time, along with an FR-101S and an FT-201 to which I slaved it.

    Only gripes I had were lack of interference-fighting controls - IF shift and a notch would have been nice - but they weren't bad otherwise.
