Yeah, I'm not real PC, so allow me to wish all a Merry Christmas -or- happy holiday - flavor of your choice!
I usually try to find something to be grateful for each year, and this year, the diversity around this place that drives so many of us crazy is something that's been on my mind for several weeks now. I miss those who have departed, by their own accord, or otherwise, as everyone adds a little something to the site. Every departure takes with it a little slice of the 'character' of the Island, and we can now see how fragile and precious each life is, having suffered the loss of 2 of our previous members here this year. We were so caught of guard that we didn't have any game plan for our SK member accounts, but we have adapted by adding the date of passing under our SK's user name, and securing the account so that it will remain as that member left it.
I remain honored to be associated with this group of rag-tag misfits, many of us who just don't fit in anywhere else. Our gain, their loss.
And a Happy New Year! (now, where did I put my damned drink ...)
QAnon / GOP Republicans mentally lack the necessary intelligence to even tell a decent lie (Ex: A cabal of Satanic, cannibalistic pedophiles run a global child sex trafficking ring and conspired against former President Dotard dRUMPf during his term in office... Jewish space lasers, etc.). What in the hell makes anyone believe these melon heads can actually govern?
