    A colleague of mine once offered me some, and I knew it's precise origin even though I'm not a Scotch drinker: a 55-gallon drum in the back room of an abandoned Glaswegian shipyard. The aroma took me back to my college days, when I formed an close and enduring acquaintance with petroleum distillates and their chlorinated derivates.

    Check them out. We haven't sacrificed any virgins to the volcano lately and I'm starting to get a little nervous about that.
