Nation's newest national historic park in NJ
Ok....let's get THIS over with....
A national park in NJ? C'mon....
:rofl::rofl::rofl:
Ok.....when you've recovered from the laughter...
It's true, and that's a pretty interesting and significant National Park. It was right there in Patterson that the "...birthplace of the American Industrial Revolution" can be toured. Was there a few years ago and the interpretive trails and museum are damn interesting to study. AND the falls themselves are darn pretty!
[What? Pretty Waterfalls in Paterson, NJ? WTF are YOU smoking?]
Here's something to ponder...
Welcome to the Garden State!Paterson, the third-largest city in New Jersey, was once a booming beacon of industry and later fell on hard times. The waterfall, framed Monday by a ring of blazing foliage, is second only to Niagara Falls in water volume east of the Mississippi River. More than 2 billion gallons of water a day pass over its summit to the swirling Passaic River below.
