    Anyone been to Branson, MO?

I've never been, but I keep reading about it and who performs there.

I delivered some stuff there back in 2004. All I saw was the loading dock of one of the theaters, however.
All the world’s a stage, but obviously the play is unrehearsed and everybody is ad-libbing his lines. Maybe that’s why it’s hard to tell if we’re living in a tragedy or a farce.

Been there a couple of times, it's about 2 hours from me. Some shows are good, some are dogs. Dolly Parton's place is a good dinner theater, and you will get messy as there are no eating utensils there.

Sons of the Pioneers absolutely rock the house.
There is also an amusement park there, which is pretty ho hum.

They don't have utensils because Dolly would hurt herself trying to get to the food over her obstacles.

I'd rather visit Dollywood. It's closer to Ten Tec.

Not wishing to offend anyone, but I think a visit to Branson would be about the most American travel/destination thing one could do. It would be as depressing to me as a cruise ship experience. If someone likes what ever performance a musical group does catch it somewhere other than at Branson.

I don't mind offending anyone. Branson is one of the major "Bad-Taste Centers" of the US. The Fundamentalist Baptist variant on the old side shows with bearded ladies, women with male organs, copulating monkeys and the guy with the walnut shells.

I hear the whole town smells like Grandma's closet.

Oh, and that added SO MUCH to the concert-going experience. Yea, sure.
