I visited Jackson, Wy one spring on the way home from Yuma. Decided to hit the visitor center first and was accosted by a Canuck Honker that was absolutely flippin out mad as soon as I got out of the car. Only got some nips at my pants. They have no size perception, you're on their turf they're coming after you.
Swans are even worse than geese. Once pissed, a swan will attack and keep attacking until you leave his/her space. They have large, heavy beaks and use them like hammers.
