It was great, except for the goody two-shoes censorship. You know that scene where Schroeder is playing the piano and Snoopy is leaning on it and sobbing? That used to be Snoopy crying in his root beer at a table in a sidewalk cafe somewhere in the sticks of France. If they found it so necessary to be that puritanical, the least they could have done is replace the scene with something else that reflected the ambience of rural France during the war.
