Multiple sound cards and digital/voice modes

So, a question for those who play Linux at the same time as Ham Radio:

My computer that I have in the shack currently has 2 sound card: The internal, and a USB sound card.

My USB sound card is connected to the rig.

My Internal card is connected to a headset and microphone (Desk type one).

Is it possible to redirect the sound from Line-In on the USB --> Headset on the internal? And, Mic-In on the Internal --> Line out on the USB?

I am running Ubuntu 11.10, and using PulseAudio. I do a whole lot of digital mode stuff, but I'd be like to be able to also do some voice stuff, using the computer's headset and microphone. But, the redirection stuff is killing me.

Is what I'm trying to do (Software side) possible?

I use Virtual Audio Cable, but it's winders only.

But, maybe this would work? http://www.vsound.org/usage.php
