No, I'm not talking about that vapid 90's singing group.
There's a nice little web-based software package called Spiceworks that my company has been using the last few years to manage (amongst other things) our Help Desk ticketing system.
A co-worker of mine (not a ham, but her husband is KB3RVI) is in charge of managing it, and just got involved with the local Spiceworks user group.
Well, I still don't believe she did this, but about 2 weeks ago, she got new a tattoo. Of the Spiceworks logo. It's on her back, right below the neckline (and yes, I will get you a picture of this at some point).
Somehow, the company that released the software got wind of this. They've been calling her on the phone for details, and are planning to wine and dine her to some degree. Their annual user convention, SpiceWorld, is going on right now. They wanted to fly her out for the event, but the timing wasn't right, but they have promised her a plane ticket, hotel space, and free attendance for next year's event.
All because of a tattoo.
Unbelievable.
