    Of course, if you were making five bucks a day back then you were doing pretty well.
    All the world’s a stage, but obviously the play is unrehearsed and everybody is ad-libbing his lines. Maybe that’s why it’s hard to tell if we’re living in a tragedy or a farce.

    I like the Model A better. Especially the rumble seat versions.

    The later Model A could be had with a flathead V-8. Nifty little engine for its day; Ford manufactured it into the early Fifties with only incremental changes. My father's '49 Ford hardtop had one.

    I had a couple of them. A 50 two door club coupe, and a 53 4 door. Both had 3 on the tree. Great little engines.

    Actually, the first flathead was produced for the model 18 in 1932.
