Live today like this is going to happen tomorrow....

Got some very sad news at work today. One of my co-workers who was working at home full-time was found dead in her condo yesterday. No warning, no symptoms, just sudden death. Gonna miss her.

This could happen to anyone at anytime.

Father-in-law simply dropped dead back in May.

A coworker lost her battle with brain cancer this afternoon.

All my friends are checking out on me. Wish they would quit that.

That, and taxes. Unless you're rich.

    Especially without saying good-bye.

Sorry to hear this.. over the past two weeks I lost a good friend to cancer, and a club (astronomy) member to sudden death. My father-in-law had part of his foot taken off due to diabetes and complications of an infection. And a close friend was in the hospital with diabetes complications (including losing his eyesight, he is 39 for gosh sakes!!) It has been a bad week.

It is times like this that make me realize how much I love my wife and those who are close to me. Hang in there..

Plus a little good whiskey helps ;)
