If we are not all Devo, then must not the balance be Juggaloes on this Jugganaut?

No, we're all bozos on this bus so relax and enjoy the ride.

I remember Froggy and Andy, but rarely caught it because we had a LOT of trouble getting that channel in where I lived.
I guess I'll just have to remember Sonny Fox, Officer Joe, Capt. Jack, Chuck McCann and Soupy Sales who were a hoot in their day.

Soupy Sales was the best. I loved the show as a kid even though most of it went over my head. Pookie & White Fang.

Laughed with Sandy Becker yukkin' it up with the crew on Channel 5 WNEW, laughed at Claude Kirschner on WOR Channel 9 in his Terrytoon Circus ringmaster getup, kinda creeped out by Gene London on I forget which channel. Also, not localy NYC tv, but Ray Forrest's Children's Theater, the same clips of underwater diving in the Keys and sure, Sonny Fox, later on Wonderama, first, as I recall host of Let's Take a Trip on WCBS channel 2. Kukla Fran and Ollie beyond me, kinda pate for my Oreo taste. Kuklapolitans, gimme a break. Those were days of Bosco, Cocoa Marsh, and giant hinged demo Twinkies and Hostess Cupcakes that the host would open and point out the cream filling with a pointer. Silver Cup bread, Junket Rennet custard, Goodman's soup, Bohak, National Shoes ring the bell, Robert Hall with Les Paul and Mary Ford... oh the humanity and Soupy too...but I was late to Philo Kvetch and all that wonderful stuff...must have been living in the deep deep fringe way upstate then.

Speaking of the Point Pleasant/Manasquan Metroplex, is the Osprey still in business, home of the Longest Bar in the World? As a wandering around 50s kid in the Squan, I often pondered that claim. Even then it seemed unlikely, but I tried to keep an open mind.
