“The basic tool for the manipulation of reality is the manipulation of words. If you can control the meaning of words, you can control the people who must use the words."

Damn... Sorry to read that, just hope things change for the beter soon.
Good luck!

Good luck to you, and here's hoping that something comes along to pull you out of that terrible situation. I, and probably a lot of us, will miss you if that actually happens. My thoughts and, yes, prayers are with you.
Before you go, I want to thank you for that sig pic with the Tuskegee Plane. I have a particularly warm spot in my heart for Tuskegee airmen that I've been hoping for an appropriate time to post. Guess that time has come.
There was a Tuskegee Airman on the city commission in my hometown of Pontiac, MI, by the name of Milton R. Henry. I had the outstandly good fortune to have a brief telephone conversation with that great man when I was 13, and afterwards I knew that I had spoken to a great human being. I credit him with eloquently educating me about race relations - turned my head around. At the time, due to the nature of race relations then and there, none of us had a clue about his great background -- Yale Law, Tuskegee Airman -- but it really, really shined through in the words he had to say to me, and the way in which he said them.
This is your thread, so I'll hold the details for another thread, but thanks for the reminder. I've a feeling that ALL Tuskegee airmen were outstanding individuals.
Wishing you the best of luck, and here's hoping things turn around.
If it's a war on drugs, then free the POW's.
Good luck, my friend. Things are only a little better here; it's looking more and more as if I'm going to have to get back in a truck by the middle of September.
All the world’s a stage, but obviously the play is unrehearsed and everybody is ad-libbing his lines. Maybe that’s why it’s hard to tell if we’re living in a tragedy or a farce.
Hoping it will be only a short term readjustment.
Best to you and your family...
It is hard to find words for this....

You will be missed, but hopefully only for a short time. My sincere prayer is that the asshats will be chucked out and sanity will slowly be restored.
In the interim, I wish you good luck and godspeed in all of your endeavors. At the very least, you are man enough to know the difference between what is important and what is optional. That adult knowledge alone will always set you on the best path.
Come back to us when you can.
I will miss your posts. We will all be looking forward to your return.
