Jeez! In my school they had sisters teaching it to the girls (and calling them "filthy"), and priests teaching it to the boys. PRIESTS! Can you imagine how worthless this all was? It was 7 days of my life I'll never get back. Nuns and Priests teaching human sexuality? Soooo... how much experience have you had Father??

You obviously never met Sister Mary Margaret. She's taught me things I could never even imagined on my own.

All the world’s a stage, but obviously the play is unrehearsed and everybody is ad-libbing his lines. Maybe that’s why it’s hard to tell if we’re living in a tragedy or a farce.

Some silicone sister with a manager mister told me I go what it takes
She said "I'll turn you on sonny to something strong,
play the song with the funky break"

Mama always told me not to look into the eye of the sun
But mama, that's where the fun is

I dunno. I haven't seen may wars fought over women lately. Seems it would be the other way around don't it? There's more women than men so, demand exceeds supply.

    Knock yourselves out ladies.

Uz Bap'dist can only imagine the "Secret lives of Priests and Nuns", they were human first and, after all is said and done, they will still be human.

Shouldn't there be a "Gentleman's Only" room for bawdy subject matter? I'm thinking that perhaps it's not just our weight and body odor that is running off all the women.

    Just saying.

There are at least two who read here semi-regularly , both Extras , and , as far as I can tell , articulate and even-tempered , at least online . Maybe they have useful observations in that regard . Hopefully , they like us as we are . And I reckon the admins can move potentially "bawdy" stuff to the Rumpus room at their discretion . I've known a woman or two who actually *likes* "bawdy" . One of 'em was an engineer. I dunno about astronomers , but I'm curious to know ;-)
I won't question your Creator's wisdom , but you are responsible for your own actions .

I understand what you're saying but some of the adjectives (and adverbs) were bordering on personal.
I'm far from a prude, far far removed but there are some thing(s) that even I will not broach in mixed company.

When I was attending Catholic School in the early 60's I'll never forget the time one of the nuns made a kid remain in the classroom during a fire drill. As we were lining up to evacuate the kid must have talked or laughed or joked around. This angered the nun and she furiously told him to go to his seat and sit down. She said something to the effect of, "for your actions you'll perish in the fire !!". As kids we didn't understand the serious implications of what this meant. Suppose it was not a drill ? Suppose the school was really on fire and this child died inside the burning school because of the actions of this nun ? Suppose that someone else died trying to rescue this boy who was left behind ? Imagine how the childs parents would feel knowing their son was deliberately left to burn in a conflagration... Could they ever forgive this "person of God" who so irresponsibly violated fire safety rules. It's sad that as kids we were so intimidated and assumed adults were always right and justified. We should have reported this incident to the fire department. I am sure they would have been pretty pissed knowing a child was deliberately left inside. Not only for the sake of the kid but for their own members who would have to try and locate him.

In those days nuns were generally middle aged, big, tough, strong and very intimidating. They looked more like pro-football players wearing a habit. They were nothing like these young, petite, mousey little nuns that you see around these days.
I keep my 2 feet on the ground, and my head in the twilight zone.
