"Everyone wants to be an AM Gangsta until it's time to start doing AM Gangsta shit."
it would be nice to get some real competition to force these companies to open up some bandwidth. Around here we got Optimum and FiOS competing. Optimum has tried every trick in the book to try and get me to switch from FiOS to Optimum, including telling me that FiOS is an electrical hazard. They even sent a pretty Eastern European girl to my door to seduce me into changing from FiOS to Optimum. FiOS wants to entice me into going for their Triple Play package, TV, Phone and Internet speeds of 15 down/5 up. What ?? I am already getting 20 down, why would I want to decrease my bandwidth ? And cmon folks, this is supposed to be fibre optics, you should be providing much more bandwidth to begin with.
I keep my 2 feet on the ground, and my head in the twilight zone.
Competition?
It's all a big trust (Where's TR when you really need him?) They're all gonna do the same thing. After all, that's what dereg is all about.

Like everything else you pay more for less, all "competitive" means is they all do the same. Antitrust was a mistake, now there is no trust.

Yea, the only "competition" is who can take the most money from us the fastest.
