Europe has some incredible architechture. Come to think of it we have some beautiful architechture here in the States but unfortunately we all too often let it fall to ruin or we wreck it and replace it with crap. The Europeans seem to take better pride in preserving their finer structures.
Case and point. There is an old railroad power station along the Hudson that had some beautiful archiitechtural features. It stands in ruin, strewn with garbage, rusted equipment and graffiti. It may not even stand at all anymore, not sure if they finally demo'ed it for condos on the river yet or not. Yet in Europe they have a similar power station in a very similar design. But instead of letting it get wrecked like we do here they fixed it up and they use it for some other purpose today.

You people have a way of cheapening anything.
@ Johnize. The Europeans have taste and appreciation for beauty, be it architecture or the human body. In this country high end aesthetics would be a big mac and fries, or a Red Lobster restaurant.
