Well, after almost a decade my trustworthy LG/ Verizon flip phone has died. Well actually the phone still works but the display doesn't. It was one of the most rugged, reliable phones I ever had. it stood up to water, extreme heat, impact, rough usage, extreme cold, ice, snow, etc. I got my money;s worth out of that phone.
Yesterday i went to Verizon for a replacement. I didn't want to spend a whole lot so I bought a "Samsung "Intensity 2"". It's great for general use, texting, (although I don't text much) and limited web access. It's somewhat weak on multimedia features but that doesn't really matter or bother me. i am generally not that interested in multimedia when i'm on the road and I've got enough computers at home to satisfy my multimedia needs. If this new phone lasts half as long as my old LG flip phone I will be happy. Its got a lot of features my LG didn't have. I need to see if I can find a cheap carrying case for it.
