Or ppl could just blame themselves...something else Americans are missing, common sense and responsibility for their own actions. Personal responsibility, whats so hard to understand about that?

Well the Conservatives are constantly preaching "personal responsibility and family values" but they seem to fall flat on their faces on both counts. For them I suppose personal responsibility means stealing as much money as possible via a network of low friends in high places. Family values boil down to knowing how to dispose of a dead stripper before the press finds out.
