Anyone have a control cable for an FT-100 to interface with a computer. The new MB has a serial connection.
Although it is receive only, mouse clicking the rig from a horizontally polarized position would be interesting.

Erm..I may. Ill look. I had a 100D and 2 100s with loads of accs laying around. However I did liquidate a lot when I got my pro III a few years back. TBH with you idk what all I had, I hated that rig loads. I only had the three cuz I got them all for the nice price of free.
As for the topic at hand.
You dont want me to start making a list of radio suggestions it will be as lengthy as this forum in its entirety. xD But as was suggested, an sdr would lean more to the computer aspect. As Gorge pointed out Flex is a great starting point. I like the 3000. Ive looked into the 1500 but if im gonna do qrp its not gonna be from my shack.
"A night sky full of cries. Hearts filled with lies. The contract: is it worth the price?"
Get a flex 3000 if you want to use your own dedicated computer or a 5000 that comes with one built in. You can digitally tweak your rig till the cows come home.
We never had weather like this before they started messing around with that internet stuff.
