Can I have a blank IE homepage on HP laptop w windows 7?

I presently have AOL as the HP pre installed home page on IE. I'd like to dump it.
I ONLY use IE to play poker on MSN games because any other browser won't work.
A blank page would be best, then I wouldn't have to load all that AOL crap.

    Bill, try this:

    1. Click on Windows Start (lower left)
    2. Click on "Control Panel"
    3. Click on "Network and Internet"
    4. Look for "Internet Options", click on "Change your homepage"
You will see "Internet Properties" dialog box. You should be at the "General" tab, if not, click on "General"
Hope Page options is on the top of the General Tab dialog.

    Set your homepage to "about:blank".

It's easy: just open up a command line window and type in

    Code:
    format c:
That'll get rid of all the bloatware in one easy step.

    No! Don't really do that!
