Some years back she claimed that all the cocaine ruined her metabolism after she quit. I have yet to hear a medical doctor say the same thing. Women like her and Delta Burke more than likely suffer from low thyroid AND are not acknowledging that they have had food issues since childhood.
One thing doctors and former stimulant addicts agree on in that the part of the brain that received gratification from cocaine is tied into the same area of the brain that receives gratification from most indulgences like food or anything else.
