    Frequencies you'll want to monitor

Some of the CB/freeband watering holes can serve as dandy 12 and 10M propagation indicators. Here's a list of those frequencies which I keep in the receiver memories and a note about each where applicable:

    26.385 (Latin/South America)
26.555 (LSB - huge number of Latin/South Americans on this one. Does "Cinco" factor into it somehow?)
    26.585 (Latin/South America)
    26.915 (Southern US)
27.015 (Mexico's "trucker channel"? Also take note of the "Cinco" inference)
27.555 (USB - Worldwide; mostly European ops heard in NEOH)

I also hear the Latin America crowd on Channel 9 and Channel 19A (27.195 - one of the so-called "RC" channels). When I'm in the shack the receivers which have these frequencies programmed into them will be set to scan - and upon getting repeated hits, I'll take note of the frequency/region correlation then head to 10 or 12 with a good idea of where to point the antennas.

The two .555's are saved in the TS-850 and Pegasus.

    Imagine that.

Need to use my old Johnson Messenger 352 some more.
Nice sounding CB to listen to, not so fatiguing.

I got the two .555's programmed in for a while. I've been using them for ideas as to when 10 might be open for a while.
