    Texas fast.

    Hello.

Had to look to be sure.
At 85MPH daytime car speed limit on select highways, Texas has the fastest speed limit of every state.
    OK, who gonna be next?

Rudy....unless something happened the last couple of days, it's 80. Not 85.

    WART!

65 or 70 here in CA, depending on the highway.
All the world’s a stage, but obviously the play is unrehearsed and everybody is ad-libbing his lines. Maybe that’s why it’s hard to tell if we’re living in a tragedy or a farce.

LOL 80 miles on selected highways in the Netherlands, 60 miles further is Germany with unlimited speed for large stretches on their Autobahn.
Now that is good for some speeding fun ;)

The ONLY two states that are 80 mph are currently Utah and Texas. NOTHING is 85 mph, although the rumour mill has it that Nevada is consdiering 85 mph.

    Hello.

The law is on the books, the governor expanded it to try and sweeten the deal.
    85 mph limits

"The legislation creating the Trans-Texas Corridor allows speed limits of up to 85 mph (137 km/h)[143] on roads built under the program. However, no such roads have been built as of April 2009, and as of April 2010, the program is effectively discontinued. The language of the statute does not prohibit the Texas Transportation Commission from raising the truck speed limit or the night speed limit on these roads."

    Your own links say 80.

Let's talk about the 35 Corridor, aka, The Highway to Heaven. Bible people as well as Muslim scholars have tied this road in to biblical prophesy.

    Hello.

The link says 80 but has a direct quote of 85.
I was driving from San Antonio to El Paso and back in a big truck, all night driving when I saw the signs.
To be sure I looked this up on the web, something really new.
