This rockfish measured 43", and weighed in at 41lbs. My nephew caught this striper on the Chesapeake Bay yesterday. He's the young fellow in the gray pull-over. My brother is on the left, and our Dad is in the background in the stocking cap.
Too bad the early season for striped bass is over for the year. This one went right back into the water!
