....For a while, I did field service for the company that builds and distributes the machine that dispenses Instant Lottery Tickets; it was sickening watching people line up to feed their moral weakness and knowing that I was profitting from it, I left the company shortly after I started.

It was not a CB Radio, it was a Drake L4-B that my mentor had worked on.

Hold on, so you worked on an amp, for a known CB'er, for what? Listening? You don't need an amp for listening.

My point is, you are contributing to the problem of the "Kilowatt kickers" on CB, who splatter on our bands oft times. I mean, I guess if money is that tight, but, hey. I'm not in your shoes.

I do know I would have not worked on the equipment.

I don't know about this situation, but yes, I have seen people risk alot for very little reward. Must be a void somewhere in the brain. Stupid? You bet.
