On the main page is says that there are over 600 threads, but when I click on it I only see two (three, including this one).

Theres a setting to ignore posts that haven't been active for some time. Go into your profile and set it to show all posts. Default should be show all posts to avoid this confusion..... admins? It also makes the forum look inactive.

I'd guess you accidentally hit the link to "mark forums read" .If you use the "New Posts" feature , as I do , that will make everything invisible 'til it has new activity on it . Viewing the regular way should still show 'em all .
I won't question your Creator's wisdom , but you are responsible for your own actions .
