    Beer Drinkers...

If you drink the American/Mexican style Pilsner type beers you owe it to yourself to try Samuel Adams Noble Pils.
It's a Pilsner made from quality ingredients (barley malt & hops), available everywhere, doesn't taste like stale breakfast cereal, and is about the same price as Corona.

    Good stuff

Haven't tried it. It's on the short list. I believe SA has also come out with a champagne made to Bavarian Purity Law standards.

Had some. It's great! I hope it's something they'll consider brewing full time. Interesting that they released it in the Winter, as I really think it's a better Summer beer! Anyway, good stuff!

I shall inquire of my supplier; I am a pilsner fan -- real pilsner, that is.

Yes, I too hope it becomes a year round brew. From what I hear it's quite popular so maybe it will.
It's just starting to come onto the shelves now so it might be another week or two until you see it.
One thing that many including myself think, it's considerably better the fresher it is. I just bought a 12 pack with an expiration date of May2011. The insiders are saying the first of the new batch was bottled Dec 20, 2010 and has May 2011 stamped as the expiration date.

Be careful what you speak. The REAL stuff might not be to your liking.

This is the real thing--brewed in Plzen (Pilsen), whence the term "pilsner" arises:

All the world’s a stage, but obviously the play is unrehearsed and everybody is ad-libbing his lines. Maybe that’s why it’s hard to tell if we’re living in a tragedy or a farce.

A birthday present to me, no doubt.

Unless it's different from the stuff bottom-brewed in the Czech Republic, I don't think I'd have much problem. I am always careful. ;)

Yes, it is an excellent beer. It is best cold, right out of a bucket of ice, like we Amis like it.
