Just bottled the latest batch of beer. It showed 14.3% alkyhaul on the hydrometer. The shist tastes good going into the bottles. It's a wheat type of beer and has been fermenting for two weeks. The technical name is PMO #3, but I am going to call it "ISLAND FIRE" if it turns out good. It is conditioning now.

My first beer, the one with the mandarin oranges in it, was excellent. Those that were over here for the tasting, asked for a bottle to take home. I figured it would be crap, but it wasn't.

    Hello.

14% is about right for a stout beer.
Citrus makes an excellent base, as has been discovered.

"Island Fire" sounds like a good name if it burns going down... or going out.

Not sure how you did your measurements & calculations, but a 14% alcohol content is suspicious.

Congrats! Eager consumption is the best compliment for a brew.

Whatever you're talking about, it's not beer or brewing.

Good stouts run between 7 to 11% abv. Anything over 11% is going into gimmick territory.

Last batch of beer, DAMN !!!!! Good stuff. Malty, creamy, with a slight hint of hops aftertaste. Island Fire has entered the scene.

    Got a new beer today.

Wilco Tango Foxtrot made by Lagunitas

Motto on bottle: We're not quite in the red, or in the black........ Does that mean we're in the brown?
