My sister-in-law gave me seven shares of Apple stock as a thank-you gift for doing a bunch of computer work for her. This was shortly after the Second Coming of Steve, but before the iMac, back when AAPL stock was still in the toilet and people were predicting the company's demise. Total value at the time was a little over $100.
At the moment, those shares are worth $4439.82.
All the world’s a stage, but obviously the play is unrehearsed and everybody is ad-libbing his lines. Maybe that’s why it’s hard to tell if we’re living in a tragedy or a farce.
Sold my silver dollars to a HAMSTER today. Still have the other coins.
