    All the world’s a stage, but obviously the play is unrehearsed and everybody is ad-libbing his lines. Maybe that’s why it’s hard to tell if we’re living in a tragedy or a farce.

    My desktop changes often -- I get tired of looking at the same thing day after day. I use a 22-inch LCD monitor in the shack, so this image is seriously reduced.

    I change my wallpaper frequently as well. Currently, Ubuntu 10.04 LTS Gnome Desktop with a picture of the sunrise over the Atlantic, taken from the 2nd story deck of the house we recently stayed in on Hatteras Island (Rodanthe):

    KDE 4.0 desktop on top of Fedora 11 running modified recompiled kernel. I run 4-6 virtual desktops. Each desktops has different wallpaper that automatically changes every couple hours. Wallpaper shown here is East Harlem street scene circa (1971-72).
