    Just got my new toy

Yeah I know, it's not really a ham radio thing. I may have left engineering but I still do voiceovers and record events and interviews. This will come in *really* handy because I'm not always home to record in the studio and this will let me record pretty much anywhere I want or need to. I tested it out and it is very nice and quiet.

Oh yes... And I very much enjoyed my complimentary Almond Roca.

Nice... I know, a little late, but did you happen to notice this in your travels search for this solution?

I've had my eye on that for quite some time :)

BTW...bet you already know about it, in case not, Audacity is a great sound editor. And it's free!

Not to mention multi-platform: Windows, Mac and Linux. Very cool and slick app.
All the world’s a stage, but obviously the play is unrehearsed and everybody is ad-libbing his lines. Maybe that’s why it’s hard to tell if we’re living in a tragedy or a farce.

Ha! Funny you mention the H4. I was in Twin Village Music just a few minutes ago looking for a violin book K needs for school and they had one of those I was gawking at. Same price as Amazon has listed. I was also gawking at a new tuner that is tiny and clips right to the instrument. Cool stuff.

LOL, the music store had one of those too!

I own a copy of the original Adobe Audition (when it was still called Cool Edit) but I've been using Audacity for years. Cool Edit is easier to do multi-track editing on, but for straight-up recording and simple editing, audacity works great.

Did they have a display unit? Like I said, I've been eyeing getting one for a long time now.

Will audacity record an audio web stream under Win 7? I've used Cool Edit for years for that, but it doesn't work under Win 7.
