    Will audacity record an audio web stream under Win 7? I've used Cool Edit for years for that, but it doesn't work under Win 7.

    You mean record from the output? I haven't been able to get it to work in Windows 7, no.

    Yeah. Apparently it can't record from the virtual wave device (something MS changed in the XP -> Vista transition, IIRC). But it seems there are some programs out there that will do this...

    Audacity used to do it but not anymore (I think you already noted that). I haven't tried that hard to get it to work again though.

    Thought XP mode and Virtual PC only worked on Win 7 Ultimate.
