That is the same (EU) law i got a new Plasma screen ( Panasonic Viera 42") when the 1st one made short wave to a hell.

New model with better specs is clean... so it can be done.

    Hello.

When I was shopping for a TV one issue I had was RF noise.
I brought along a small shortwave radio that had VHF and UHF.
    I selected a 19" Zenith.
Now with the incredible frequency range of modern talkies I would think that a ham would carry that into the store and at least try and get an idea.
What I have discovered is that the ones with an external power supply tend to be the quietest.
The Zenith is nearly 30 years old.
The Vizio is perhaps 2 months.
    Quiet? you bet!

You should hear those things freak out above 8000' elevation.

Plasma kinda sucks. EU laws are much better about RF noise than the FCC. Look for the "CE".
