    Identify this connector...

And win a prize. Or something.

It's used by Yaesu for peripheral connections to the FTM-10SR. I need a couple (both sexes; free-hanging type) to fabricate an extension for their control-head cable.

7-pin (not a mini-DIN) and threaded lock ring.

Easy. That's a "they've got you by the balls only available through yaesu" connector.

I'll just tell myself to make that a triple.

All the world’s a stage, but obviously the play is unrehearsed and everybody is ad-libbing his lines. Maybe that’s why it’s hard to tell if we’re living in a tragedy or a farce.

It looks like a connector for the cable between a video cable and a portable U-Matic videocassette recorder. But I'm dating myself. That's the rig I used when I first started doing electronic journalism for the Air Force.

I don't think it's as unobtainium as you might think, but might require a thorough Google search. Maybe it's here in this part of the catalog.

Not sure what to call yours. Hell, I didn't even know what to call the ones I had to find for some new (to me) PA equipment.
Seems like these locking connectors are all the rage everywhere.
This is the new fancy smancy replacement for the 1/4" phone plugs that served us so well for so long.
Don't ever remember having a plug just fall out of where I put it.

    Hello.

Type K 7 pin microphone connector.
This is a waterproof connector intended for the marine industry.
