    Try two -- up and back from Deerfield this weekend

    Plan on being on 40 and checking 7255 and 7258 regularly form 1300Z to about 1800Z (9 to 2 EDST).

    Or...by previous arrangement some other frequency.

    Or...will periodically call CQ between 7200 & 7225.

    Or...another band?


    Also...from the fester itself, Friday evening on 75. I'll be prowling the band, or calling as pre-arranged.

    Will have my compter & can check the board for late possibilities.

    AND...I might even be using my new-old TR-7. If I don't quickly find a connector or a mic at that hamfest, I didn't even try!!!

    Hope to hear all the melodius voices from the Island!

    Let us know -- either post, email or PM -- where on 75 you will call and at what time.

    I will also try tomorrow in the morning on 7255, but 75 in the evening is often better choice.

    It's 7:00 here in Manchester. Been to Deerfield, got all I need to get the TR-7 on the air, and should be on 75 about 10:00. Whether with the Drake or the Yaesu. (It's a bitch trying to find Heil mic pinouts...guess I have to take a w.a.g. at it!

    So 10:00 around 3800 I'll call and listen -- we should be able to hook-up.

    Leaving for dinner now. Hope to yak it up later!

    I think I'm done wirimg the mic and I'm headed out to try it. If it's good, I'll be on a while. If not, and I hear you calling I'll hook up the Yaesu. If I don't hear you, I've still got enough time to try again before 10:00.

    The attempts are fun, tho!!!

    Yea, in Manchester, NH, the band was pretty quiet around 3800, except for my calls.
