    Hello.

Yes, I got a city mixed up, my bad.

The officer Did Not show his badge!
"According to the testimony, Mansker was a 23-year-old rookie when he followed Foley from downtown San Diego to Poway. The officer, who was wearing jeans and a white T-shirt and driving his own black Mazda, said he suspected that Foley was driving drunk.".
    Is that enough detail?
So, we have an officer who was not even in his city when he decides to pull somebody over, in his own black mazda.

Getting back to the OP s point I think it is about time they take some serious steps to address the misuse/overuse of the taser. It seems these days they TASER is the first line of action. Everybody is being TASED from 4 year old kids to 96 year old grandma's over petty BS. Maybe it is time to take the tasers away.
I keep my 2 feet on the ground, and my head in the twilight zone.

As long as you're white, anyway. All bets are off if you're black or hispanic as you are no doubt aware, Bunny.
All the world’s a stage, but obviously the play is unrehearsed and everybody is ad-libbing his lines. Maybe that’s why it’s hard to tell if we’re living in a tragedy or a farce.

Thats why the first word out of my mouth is Sir and the second and third are Yes Sir. Act just like you were back in boot camp.

I dont as much as fart when I get stopped. I turn on the cab light and put my hands on the dash until told to do anything. But then again, Im not dressed in chinos, wearing a long sleeve flannel shirt buttoned just at the top and a wife beater or a hoodie when its like a million degrees Kelvin outside.

I may get arrested for 10 lbs of weed that I didnt have 10 seconds ago but it sure isnt going to because of "failure to obey" and me with my bowels all emptied etc.

The sad part is that we should have to carry such fears with us as we travel the highways and byways of our own homeland. In truth we are not much more free than the rest of the world. Perhaps less so in some regards.

    Hello.

And that is the trouble, you might get stopped for 10 pounds of weed you did not have 10 seconds ago.
And dress has little to do with it, if you are a Mexican you are pretty much screwed, no matter what you say.

    Hello.

It also says that "The district attorney's office said recently it was not pursuing charges against Foley in that incident."
    Add to that
"I heard a female scream, 'Let it go! No, no, no!' And then four more shots. I heard more screaming and then two more shots and in seconds the first marked officer showed up."
    "
Coronado police also declined to give any information about the off-duty officer."
So, lets look at the facts, shall we.
An OFF DUTY police officer in a Personal Vehicle decides to intercept a suspected drunk driver.
In Texas that alone is a felony, the cop is not allowed to make a traffic stop while off duty.
The Corona police department has even had a brush with FBI agents, where a Corona police officer who was not in uniform drew a weapon on a FBI agent, there were 2 and the other drew on the Corona police officer and called for assistance.
CHP showed up and one of that (CHP) departments officers said "It figures, Corona cops would point a gun at the president if given the chance".
Another made the comment of "Even guards are better trained".
Look up Corona Police and you will find this and more.
This was given to me just a while back.
