I really enjoyed watching Hanna Barbera cartoons as a kid. If I remember right, The Flintstones were the first prime-time cartoon and the show was billed as being an Adult Cartoon. I always got time to stay up later on Fridays to watch it. My favorite of the bunch was The Jetsons, basically the premise was The Flintstones in the future, but it had it's own identity. Most of the music in the earlier cartoons seemed to be based on big-band type scores. Later in the mid-60s they started switching to other types...
