    Dick's Brewing Co.

Bought a sampler pack last night and enjoyed a couple of their beers.

I must say they make a really nice beer. Their Rye beer was excellent and the Irish Style was really good as well.

Would never try one. Imagine telling the barkeep you want Dick's. Say that in the wrong bar and you may get more than you bargained for.

Dick's IPA is quite common here on tap. Not bad for the price usually charged, but nothing to write home about.

IPA's are too bitter for my tastes. I like a nice malty brew.

I love Scotch ales as well as Irish red ales. German hefe beers are really nice on a hot summer day.

If I want bitter I will talk to my mother in law.

How about acidic? Berliner Weissbier uses a bacteria to produce lactic acid. Almost no hops are used.
Reminds me of sweet tarts candy but not as sweet.

A "Berliner Weisse" is a wheat bier in which a gob of raspberry (Himbeer) or other awful syrup has been added. Berliners are savages.
