    Appleton Estate V/X...

Am presently downloading a 750ml bottle as a test. Not Zaya, but not bad.

    :yum:

    Anyone else a rummy?

I haven't had that particular version but Appleton is fine stuff. Meyer's was good a long time ago but they have since changed the way they make it.

I know it's trite and dumb, but I like this stuff...

    Calamari, yum...
All the world’s a stage, but obviously the play is unrehearsed and everybody is ad-libbing his lines. Maybe that’s why it’s hard to tell if we’re living in a tragedy or a farce.

I usually keep a bottle of Pere Magiloire Calvados around, Bill, but I only cook with the stuff.

You should give it a try, Bill. Most Americans think Ron Rico or Barcardi is what rum should taste like. Those are the same people who believe that Budweiser is beer.

Sip a good rum, neat, in a snifter or a cheese glass.

    Yum. :yum:
