All the world’s a stage, but obviously the play is unrehearsed and everybody is ad-libbing his lines. Maybe that’s why it’s hard to tell if we’re living in a tragedy or a farce.
I don't have a picture of it (Sorry Barkeep, difficult to do when you're driving down an Interstate in traffic), but along the Pa Turnpike slightly north of Philadelphia, near the Amtrak (nee PRR) main line, there is a tall (~100 ') cell tower that is disguised as a pine tree.
As a certain movie character could put it, they disguised... poorly.
Seeing that photo makes me wonder if someone simply, ah, imported a "palm" tree and then tried to change the "palm" leaves to something more suited to the area.

I don't know about anyone else but I think making it look like a tree is growing out of the roof is uglier than
a bare metal tower. Even from the ground up if it is 40 feet taller than trees that have been there for a
hundred years, to me, it looks more out of place than a tower.
Since when are the advancements and accomplishments of man (and/or woman) so terrible that we should hide them?
