    I think every place I ever lived has had a geological feature named "Table Rock" somewhere in the general vicinity.

    Oh sorry, no offense taken. To find it in Google, search Pickens SC, Pumpkin Town. Pumpkin Town is famous for having a red light. Look for highway 11 and look NW. You should see the face depending on your settings.

    The same families have been here since the Pilgrims landed and in some cases you can tell. Before Glassy Mountain was bought for a high end gated subdivision, the same family (singular) lived there for at least 300 years. They gave the infamous Peacock clan a run for their inbreeding money. Although the people up on Glassy Mt. actually had rightful ownership of the land, the state removed them due to their family practices.
    (and I'm sure that money had a lot to do with it)
