You CAN listen to AFRTS Voice Channel on SSB shortwave, that's what I can do in my own shack. But as for WATCHING AFN on the feed from Riverside to Andover, Maine, where the signal hops the Atlantic to Germany for a feed to the Hotbird satellite, it's encrypted.
