U.S. Route 34 crossing the Mississippi at Burlington, IA.

    Thank you, Google Earth.
All the world’s a stage, but obviously the play is unrehearsed and everybody is ad-libbing his lines. Maybe that’s why it’s hard to tell if we’re living in a tragedy or a farce.

No, What is it called? They used to have a Basket Factory there, Motorola has a plant there and if you go west a few miles you'll find the Ammo plant has been repaired after it blew up a few years ago.

OK, I have to say that I was way off by over 1000 miles and that I realized it just before I made my sprinkler post. I posted it anyway knowing that I would have to speak differently.

The 2 guys who were in the room didn't see, hear or feel it either......I do have to wonder if one had the time to say, "Oh Shit!"

We ran across the grave a couple years ago. It's (indeed) in Custer State Park. Backroad that's a few miles of gravel, but traveled every day. No history known, but ran across this recently on a geocaching site:

    http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache...d-cafa8c6220ee

Gives a little history, but no real details of "Baby Mann."

What surprised me was the flowers, etc. (pic taken last week). 1902 was a long time ago. Maybe we're not the barbarians we pretend to be?
