    Old age

Old age catches up to all of us eventually.....I got up this morning confronted with this mess near my front gate.....I have a few old pine trees which started dying back about 4 years ago because of our 10 year long drought....This tree finally gave up last night crashing down over a Cootamundra Wattle tree and fence....Missed the machinary shed thank goodness....We have had good August rains at last and that probably helped the tree to it's final demise....Now I guess I will have to get around to cleaning it all up....Note the Magpie on the ground....Fortunately her nest is in the bottom brabches of the Pine tree so has escaped....She is back on the nest now so it didn't frighten her away....

I feel a bit like that old tree these days myself....Limbs havn't fallen off yet but starting to feel their age...

    Enjoy....Bob..

No--south of the equator, it's April.
All the world’s a stage, but obviously the play is unrehearsed and everybody is ad-libbing his lines. Maybe that’s why it’s hard to tell if we’re living in a tragedy or a farce.

Old age? I'll tell you old age. Every day it's the same thing. Wake up. Take a piss. Get out of bed.
