Imported from Italy
I buy this by the 1.5 liter bottle, it's currently $8.19 but often goes on sale as low as $6.
It's a real good bang for the buck, rivaling many higher priced Chianti brands.
Goes perfect with any pasta with tomato sauce.
Yum...

This was good when I could get it. Now it is ... limited to discontinued. Yeah, I though it was discontinued and that is what I was often told. Last time I did manage to snag two 2003's in 2007 out of the GITFOOOS bin. Still the best Zin I've ever had and I've paid twice as much for what was supposed to be better. It just wasn't to my taste. It was an experience but not to my taste. Image sipping a Zinfandel and suddenly feeling like you were standing out in the vineyard. The first thing to hit the pallet is broad, green, dark grape leaves. There was a hint of earthy iron on the nose from the dirt it must have been grown in. So there I was, drinking this pricey wine that tasted like leaves and dirt.
You elitists can have your fancy-assed wines. Just gimme some WPLJ.
All the world’s a stage, but obviously the play is unrehearsed and everybody is ad-libbing his lines. Maybe that’s why it’s hard to tell if we’re living in a tragedy or a farce.
The guy I go fishing with in November is one of those wine "people" that can tell you everything about the wine you are drinking. He always brings several bottles of some very interesting wine.

In native tribal communities where kava kava grows, a drink is made by the women folk. The women chew on the root and spit the concoction into a bowl.
Later in the evening, the kava kava concoction is consumed by members of the tribe.
It is said to have almost hallucinogenic properties when consumed in this manner.

...think I'll pass.
I never take wine.
