Ummmm, no I'm not peeing in my gas tank :)
was listening this afternoon, heard hetrodyne on 29.640. However, on the magic band i worked 22 stations in 15 minutes. When a person adds "QRP" to the callsign, and grid square I had a real pile up. it was way cool. from 8 land n dakota, kansas, minn, oregon, WA, Tx, Idaho,. Gotta love the Es in June on the magic band.

Unfortunately my current rig does not do FM but that did not stop me from making a number of contacts on Phone. Just tuning between 28.300 to 28.500 there was a lot of activity and I made quite a few contacts.
Unless the ULS database is wrong, you wouldn't be able to make any FM contacts no matter what kind of radio you have! You do know that Technicians can not use FM on 10 meters, right?
