    Amp back inline

    I did some rearranging today...

The '940 which I used to talk with a number of Islanders on 75M has now been connected to an 80-40-20-15M inverted Vee at the western edge of my yard, and the G5RV that was attached to the '940 is connected to an Astro 103/1500ZA/ST-2B combo. I now can run QRO on 75, 40 and 20 without worrying about near-field RF exposure issues involving the neighbors.

Still giving some thought to pulling the 'RV down and replacing it with a loaded/fan dipole (clone of an A-D 80/40 unit with 20M added) or perhaps rolling my own.

On-the-air tests will be the proof in the pudding, so to say.

May be on later tonight if anyone is game.

It doesn't expire at midnight. Going to head over to friends' house for a bit then I'll be back...
