From what I've been able to determine, the GSB-900DX was manufactured from the mid 80's til the mid 90's. Something about the time frames just doesn't add up.

If the receipt is authentic, the rig was purchased in 1981. This was b4 the mid 1980's.
EDIT: Dayam. The delivery date was my oldest son's birthday. 7-1-1981.
