I picked up a like new Icom V8000 last week. +$60 and $10 in shipping. From the description,it sounds just like the one I had that failed on me a couple years back. $27.50 from RFparts for an rd70hvf1 and I'm guessing it will be as good as new.no transmit keys up and shows it but no rf output!!.The rx is perfect and the radio looks like brand new with the nice stock mike and bracket full length power cord.I have not made an attempt to repair this, I am just gonna pass it along and let the next fellow deal with it
